THOR INFORMATION SYSTEM – WORK HOURS RECORDING

1. Logging In

Start the program and click 'Staff Login'.


Enter the Code and Password defined during employee creation


This login is only for accessing the system (viewing hours, employee data, etc.), not for clocking in/out.
All options are accessed from the dropdown menu 'Work Hours Record'.

2. Entering Employee Data

Under Work Hours Record → Personnel – Employees:
- Required: Code, Name and Surname
- Recommended fields:
 • Password – protects access rights
 • OIB, RFID Code, Contact Info
 • Cost Center (Thor.fin), Signature, Email
 • User Group, Organizational Unit
 • Auto/manual time entry, Employment Dates
 • Earliest/Latest check-in times, Shift start for late flagging
 • Daily contract hours, Vacation days, Fingerprint setup

3. Staff Groups – Departments

Under Work Hours Record → Staff Groups – Departments:
- Define groups to assign permissions
- Avoid per-employee permission management
- Toggle individual permissions on/off

4. Organizational Units

Under Work Hours Record → Organizational Units:
- Used for managing multiple employees
- Enables batch time management and filtering
- Cost center integration for Thor.fin users

5. Check-In Bases

Under Work Hours Record → Check-In Bases:
- Define types of work entries (e.g., Work, Sick, Vacation)
- Activate/deactivate types as needed

6. Time Reports

6.1 Tabular Overview:
- View by date range and organizational unit
- Includes all work types (on-site, remote, sick, vacation)

6.2 Total Overview:
- Aggregated hours by employee
- Time rounding example: 08:36 ➝ 09:00; 17:16 ➝ 17:00



6.3 Detailed Overview – All Employees:
- Chronological, with notes (e.g., sick, late, day off)
- Add/edit/delete time entries

6.4 Detailed Overview – Single Employee:
- Like above, but for a single selected user

7. Batch Time Entry/Removal

7.1 Manual Entry:
- Add clock-ins/outs for multiple employees at once
- Define date/time, select staff, click OK



7.2 Deletion:
- Remove entries for multiple employees for selected dates

8. Vacation Management

Under Work Hours Record → Vacation:
- Manage employee vacation entries
- Fields: Employee, From/To Dates, Decision Date, Year

9. Leaves and Absences

Manage Sick Leave, Maternity, Paid/Unpaid Leave, Work Suspension:
- Show affected employees and durations
- Fields: Employee, From/To Dates, Decision Date
