INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLOCKING IN AND OUT OF WORK

THOR System – THOR.rv

Using the Time Attendance Module

Employees are required to clock in and out of work each day using the time attendance system.

There are two ways to launch the system:
1. Through THOR POS System:
From the main menu, select 'Work Hours Record'.

2. Via Desktop Shortcut:
Start the dedicated time attendance program from your desktop or quick access menu.

Clocking In Procedure

Upon launching the system, you will be prompted to enter your employee code. After entering the code and pressing Enter:

- If it is a clock-in, the screen will turn green.
- Your name and the last 5 clock-ins will be displayed.
- Select the appropriate clock-in type (usually WORK) from the right-side menu.
- If permitted, you can manually enter the arrival date and time.

After confirmation, a message will appear confirming your successful clock-in.

Clocking Out Procedure

If it is a clock-out, the screen will turn red, displaying:
- Your name
- Time of clock-in and clock-out
- Optional comment field (e.g., reason for staying late – recommended)

After confirmation, you will receive a message stating you have successfully clocked out.

What If You Forget?

- Forgot to Clock In?
Clock in as soon as you remember. Though the hours will be reduced, your presence will still be recorded. Optionally, leave a comment upon clocking out explaining the delay.

- Forgot to Clock Out?
If you go home without clocking out, the system (based on admin settings) may auto-clock you out with default work hours. However, this will be specially noted in HR records.

Issues with the System

If the system returns an error during clocking in/out:

- Cause 1: System overload (many users acting simultaneously).
Solution: Wait a few seconds and try again. If it persists, contact support at 01/4400-444.

- Cause 2: No internet at your location.
Solution: Check your connection by opening any webpage. Contact your service provider if needed.
